Heidi Granger
Heidi Granger is Director of Financial Aid of the College of the Desert in Palm Desert, CA. Prior to that, she was at Santa Monica College for seven years (as Director, Financial Aid and Student Employment). At the US Department of Education in Washington, DC, she was a member of the Direct Loan Task Force, one of two federal student loan programs.
She was honored by Secretary of Education Richard Riley for “my contributions, hard work and dedication to the student financial aid community in 1997.” Heidi has more than 15 years in the financial aid field. She got her BA in public administration from San Diego State University, as well as her MPA.
