Bob Bontrager - AACRAO Consulting Director
AC Director Bob Bontrager has 20 years of experience in enrollment management at many different types of colleges and universities, with expertise in strategic planning, recruitment, retention, financial aid, marketing, net revenue strategies, and educational partnerships. As Assistant Provost for Enrollment Management at Oregon State University (OSU), his efforts led to a 40 percent increase in enrollment. He also teaches and advises graduate students in the OSU School of Education.
Dr. Bontrager is also Director of the AACRAO Strategic Enrollment Management Conference.
The director insures that AC staff:
- Translate this understanding into a project approach, staff assignments, timing, and cost that will best guarantee the appropriate “fit” for each client;
- Direct and participate in the on-site client work as appropriate;
- For consulting projects, review the findings, conclusions, and recommendations of any interim and/or final project reports; and
- Follow up with key client staff to insure that the project produced the anticipated results.
Understand in depth the situation, expectations, and needs of each potential client;
