Enrollment Management Planning

AACRAO Consulting provided Lincoln University of Missouri with invaluable assistance in shaping a new enrollment management plan in a time of dynamic movement forward. A new administration, the initiation of new strategic planning and enrollment management cycles, the development of a coordinated first year experience program, and a new residence hall construction project has asked that the University think and plan carefully our enrollment priorities and admissions procedures to guarantee continued success in the coming years.
In two separate two-day visits, tailored to our needs, our AACRAO consultant brought us an understanding of leading edge issues and philosophies in enrollment management. In addition, we were provided fresh insight into our recruitment and retention processes through his in-depth research on Lincoln University recruitment, admission and retention procedures, and through a series of broad-based meetings with University personnel, from the President to support staff members. His expertise provided a wide range of best practice solutions which we might consider. As a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) Lincoln University has some unique enrollment considerations; our consultant had recent experience with several other HBCU’s and this experience further informed the options he was able to offer us.
Working together, the AC consultant and Lincoln University personnel were quickly able build an analysis of our enrollment management needs and draft a skeleton framework of goals and strategies that will lead to realization of those needs. In the weeks following AC’s consultation visits, as administration, faculty and staff from various student service units have collaborated to complete our Enrollment Management Plan, our consultant has remained in contact, reviewing our proposals and guiding us to the most effective and accountable plan possible.
Our work with AC consulting has been essential to the development of our plan, and indeed, priorities established only weeks ago are even now creating positive change.
