Be sure to log in to the second part of the webinar series on the use of predictive analytics to identify at-risk students, hosted by AACRAO Consulting and SPSS. This special two-part webinar series is geared toward college and university staff officers interested in learning strategies for proactively identifying and retaining at-risk students and for those seeking methods to prevent the attrition of students. The second webinar in the series will take place on June 11, 2008.
Part II will explain how to integrate and analyze student and prospect data from multiple sources across campus (e.g. student information system (SIS) data, ERP system data, admissions e-mails, online submission forms, notes from face-to-face interactions, etc.) using predictive analytics. This will enable your institution to:
- Gain a better understanding of your current students and what they value about your institution
- Combine these date with prospects’ behaviors to identify and target the students best suited for your school
- Increase your success in converting a prospect or applicant to an enrolled student
