Admissions Leadership Academy
Wednesday, July 25, 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
This interactive one-day workshop is designed to cover recruitment, marketing, operations, staffing, and the technologies that support admissions. If you are aspiring to a leadership position, are new to leadership, or are seeking a refresher course, this workshop provides individual and group exercises and reflections, as well as ample discussions and question/answer formats with faculty and other participants. Enrollment is limited to 50 participants on a first-come, first-served basis to ensure a high level of interaction with Academy faculty.
The Core Concepts of SEM
Thursday, July 26, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Participants will learn how to develop, write, and implement a SEM Plan focusing on the following critical components:
- SEM Plan Table of Contents: A detailed review of what a SEM plan entails
- SEM Organizational Structures: How to foster faculty, organize for SEM, and create campus-wide buy-in to SEM
- Implementing SEM: Pitfalls and best practices

Tom Green, AACRAO Associate Executive Director, Consulting and SEM
Both workshops will be led by Dr. Tom Green, who has over 30 years of experience in enrollment management. Dr. Green is AACRAO’s Associate Executive Director for Consulting and SEM, and has helped dozens of institutions plan and implement SEM on their campuses in the U.S. and around the world. He also brings proven best-practice expertise in developing effective recruitment and retention strategies, enhancing and streamlining financial aid processes, maximizing institutional aid, identifying customer service/CRM strategies, and implementing and evaluating comprehensive service systems for colleges and universities.
