Strategic Enrollment Planning
Setting enrollment goals for many institutions can be summed up by the simple phrase “at least a few more than we had last year”, with a focus on aggregate headcount enrollment. This is in spite of the fact that institutional missions often speak to meeting the needs of multiple groups of students. Moreover, the financial implications of enrolling different types of students vary significantly. For these reasons, the setting of stratified enrollment goals is a necessary precursor for the development of effective enrollment initiatives. Setting such goals is a challenge due to the mission-driven nature of the conversation and special interests of campus constituent groups. Our consultants provide templates for organizing enrollment goals and facilitate campus-wide conversations, ultimately providing institutions with a comprehensive set of enrollment goals with institutional buy-in.
