Alicia Moore adds to AACRAO’s diverse consulting expertise with more than 16 years of leadership experience in the field of student services. As the current Dean of Student and Enrollment Services at Central Oregon Community College, Dr. Moore emphasizes and pays particular attention to admissions and records-related areas, including marketing and advertising, publication design and writing, recruiting and one-stop program/service development. Prior to her current position at COCtwo, Dr. Moore served as the Director of Admissions/ Registrar, and through her collaborative efforts, was able to increase enrollment growth by 12% in only two years.
During her tenure at COCC, Dr. Moore established partnerships between various high school and university partners, and developed a new comprehensive one-stop service center, including admissions, registration, placement testing, academic advising, student account/bursar and financial aid. In addition, she completely redesigned the college transition program to include a mandatory pre-advising workshop, summer orientation program and an academic “jump start” program. Ms. Moore has also played a key role in the design of COCC’s new Campus Center and coordinated the development of and supports the on-going efforts for a successful institution-wide strategic enrollment management plan. Dr. Moore holds a Ph.D. Community College Leadership from Oregon State University
